I didn’t always fight this battle to eliminate belly fat. At one time, I was a slim, trim athlete; but alas, those days are behind me. Far behind me, in my case. I am 73 years old and overweight.
I took up smoking, while in the US Navy, while it didn’t seem to affect my athletic abilities at the time, it certainly came back to haunt me when I quit smoking.
I didn’t think much about it, at the time, but I gained on average 1/2 to 1 pound a month, after I stopped smoking. I felt like my metabolic rate fell through the floor.
Combine the weight gain with a more sedentary lifestyle and it was a surefire recipe for increased weight and belly fat.
I have spent the last 20 years in a continuing battle to lose my visceral belly fat.
So come along with me as I describe my various methods of eliminating belly fat and what I have discovered that has significantly worked for me.
I feel that you will find some methods to avoid and some paths to ultimately eliminating your belly fat.
